Logging official complaint to Amazon


Hi everyone, our charities seller account has been suspended and our accounts are frozen, does anyone know how to make an official complaint and who to direct it to?


Probably more important, is to sort out why your account has been suspended.
Just complaining won’t get you very far.

What is the suspension notice you have received?


as neil rightly says it would be a better use of your time to try to get your account reinstated
can you post the deactivation notice for assistance?


Amazon does not have a process to make and official complaint to them. as other have stated you could try and get the suspension removed.


Thanks Neil! They keep going back and forth with us about our verification. We have provided all the relevant documents but they are still rejecting them


In which case, there is some sort of issue with your documents.
What exactly are they asking for and what exactly are you providing them with?

You really won’t get very far with a complaint. It certainly won’t speed things up.
And if you haven’t even got your account verified yet, then the most likely outcome, is they will simply refuse to allow you to sell.


Is this an account reverification as your account is over 1 yr old, or is it because you have you reached the 15,000 euros disbursement limit?


No feedback, no sales, so I doubt it’s a reverification, but a new account.

Hi everyone, we launched our account last November and they let us sell our books right up until September as they claimed we hadn’t been verified even though they allowed us to sell. We have just over £7000 in our account but can’t touch it till we have been verified. They have asked us to share of our trustees information and every time we provide them with this they asked for additional documents. You can never speak to the same person twice, many of the staff do not speak English very well and they “support” desk never allow us to speak to the “verification” team and it seems they only communicate with them by email.


They have said that they will permanently close our account tomorrow so we are desperate to get the funds out, but we need to be verified.


When you first registered what documents did you send ?


We sent our articles of association and our CEO proof of address and proof of ID

There were Director changes made on 4th November, what did you send and when
How did you send the info on the 10 officers ?


We didn’t send the vice chair’s information the first time so we sent the chair, vice chair and two other trustees. The form will only allow you to upload the 4 trustees not all 9 and besides they only requested 4 so that’s all we submitted.
