Shipment problems to BHX4 & LBA4
Is anyone having trouble shipping goods to these locations or anywhere else? Two pallets and a UPS shipment have been massively held up, I have no idea what’s going on! One shipped two weeks ago has been delivered to Amazon’s warehouse, but no further update since then.

In a word, strike.
My understanding is that BHX4 in Coventry was involved in a week long industrial action so there were inevitable issues there. LBA4 is another receiving FC in Doncaster, which was taking on the extra volumes that BHX4 couldn’t handle, thus inevitable delays there too.
Invariably, almost all of our FBA shipments go to BHX4 and (invariably) they are fully processed within a couple of days. However, it has been taking about a week during the industrial action. The goods that have gone to LBA4 from us have been timely processed. Somebody here might have further updates to that information?
The only placebo I can suggest is to allow longer lead times for your shipments if possible, just in case. We work on a “just in time” delivery so that we only keep minimal stocks at FC’s and thus ship to FBA around 3 times a week. This has still been working but we have allowed longer lead times.

It’s an absolute mess at both at the moment it seems.
Everything is taking weeks rather than days. My current “best” is one which was delivered to LBA4 on 14 March (so 2 weeks ago today) and then nothing since.
No acknowledgement from Amazon or SS that there are any problems of course.

We can’t be the only sellers with the same lost box issues, there must be many sellers. This constant claims by sellers for lost boxes that are confirmed as delivered must be ringing alarm bells, what the hell is going on?

Neither of mine are actually showing as delivered this time, so I expect they will eventually turn up and it’s just UPS’s tracking that’s letting the side down.
Everything’s taking at least 5 days at the moment though, and that’s when things go well.

Yes me 2 I have 2 shipments for BX4 missing, they were last tracked 29/03/23 and are eligible tomorrow for investigation. A total of 164 units which of course has an impact on cash flow.

GMB union members are planning three days of strikes at the huge Coventry centre, known as BHX4, from Sunday 16 to Tuesday 18 April, to be followed by three further days, from 21 to 23 April . Workers will have been on strike for a total of 14 days by the end of April

Yes, I’m aware of the strikes but that doesn’t explain other boxes lost before these dates.
