Amazon Is Restraining Our Trade
Sellers, Amazon is no longer your partner but rather your competitor.
The changes Amazon made on the product page make it very quick and simple for buyers to buy from them but way more difficult for them to find us individual sellers, now two or three clicks away. This is simply restraint of trade.
Since these changes were made, many of us sellers have experienced dramatic sales drops. Amazon would have us believe it's caused by the season of the year, phases of the moon, etc., but it isn't. Our sales drops are caused by Amazon, in the way it now actively hides individual sellers.
I've been selling on Amazon for 15 years, but now I'm looking at other channels. I'd also like to find a lawyer who specializes in restraint of trade issues. Anyone else interested?

Why should it? You can be happy if you have 10 views. Your statement is not revolutionnary or new, all sellers know how Amazon is working. And we all know the feature "Other sellers on Amazon". It is like this if you don't create and sell your own brand. You are ONE among many.

Amazon doesn't care enough to lock your thread. They also don't care about you, or me or any other seller besides their stock holders wallets.
This is their platform, their store. We were needed to make it what it is. We are not needed in the future they envision.

There is currently a class action suit before the FCC regarding this and other issues on fair trading practices. You can find it on the internet.

See my post related to trade issues regarding a class action with FCC already pending against mighty Amazon. I hope their lobbyists can't beat down the govt. but from what I see the govt. rigs everything. It is like we don't have a chance no matter what we do.

The world is controlled by a small group of billionaires. Either accept that or struggle against it.

Buyers typically are not looking for sellers, they are looking for products. They often simply buy the least expensive offering of the same product, or perhaps they look a little at the seller's history or feedback; but mostly buyers are looking for products and price, not individual sellers. You indicate that after 15 years on Amazon, you are 'now' looking at other channels. If your only sales outlet is Amazon, you are not paying much attention. We sell on Amazon, but also have a real live brick and mortar store, and have sold on other outlets prior to selling on Amazon, and still do so. If you limit your sales to only one outlet, regardless of who it is, you will always have limitations.

You agreed to not sue Amazon, Dont hold your breath on the FTC lawsuit as it doesnt start until the end of 2026!!!!
Amazon is also fighting efforts of the FTC to ensure Amazon stops allegedly deleting emails pertinent to the claims filed by the FTC.
If you are NOT looking for Monetary, cheapest way to make Amazon listen in regards to your selling account is Arbitration. Figure 10-15k with a lawyer for the entire process.
I am currently considering as Amazon is refusing to issue promised notifications for me to resolve issue with my account health. Amazon has also emailed me blank suspension notices which cause tremendous amount of anxiety and they refuse to repair any of these issues.
Amazon is CONTRACTED to issue certain performance notifications and those notifications must include certain pieces of information. When Amazon refuses to issue such notifications, they are in breach.
If you have the evidence for tortious interference or restrictions of trade, Arbitration is the way to fix it for you faster than October 2026
