So if I source a product from China, do I have to put my brand on the packaging or the product itself? And if I do, do I have to go through the USPTO or just take a photo to get it branded on Amazon? And if it is branded, and another seller fakes my brand and begins selling it on Amazon, with the same brand on the packaging or product, what can Amazon do?

Sorry, but how is a bunch of documentation, much of which Amazon will simply ignore, or which implies one thing while literally saying another ... the same as "services"?
Brand Registry is coming close to being more effective as a Denial of Service attack on an ASIN than an actual brand protection.

Im hesitant to consider more Amazon protections after my recent experience as a customer, receiving a single trash product with 2 different transparency labels on them? For 2 different asins. Same factory, just got it back from one made up brand name and slapped the sticker for another on there, and shipped it to me.
Customer service could care less, if the gentleman I spoke with even understood the problem, because we had to go round and round repeating for 20 minutes until I hung up in frustration.
Is Amazon just the new Wish.com for cheap throwaway, counterfeit products?
I've cut back selling here, and my family stopped shopping on Amazon because you cant find what you are looking for through all of the fake brands selling knockoffs. I would rather drive a bit than deal with the hassle of returning a product I would have passed on a shelf anyhow.
