Nike & Adidas
Looking for suggestions. We have a few Nike & Adidas listings that we were approved to create a couple years back. Now they need to be updated with some information such as Department / Color (for example). We have not been able to make any of these changes. We just get replies from support that the brand has to make the modifications. Nike & Adidas will not respond to my requests through Amazon or directly. So currently the items are search suppressed and I can't make any progress.

Nike and Adidas? I hope you have LOA's from them as you cannot successfully sell those brands on Amazon anymore without it, or if you are, until you get caught. And you have put it out there for all to see, watch your account.

No, Amazon allowed you to list; that doesn't mean you were "approved".
My advice is to fully remove and delete all of those listings NOW, and hope that Nike an Adidas don't look at old listings to come after you.
Neither company allows 3rd party sellers to sell their products on Amazon. You might want to read through the forums at all the threads by people who have lost their account by selling Nike.

As stated by the Seller Support team, as these items are in Brand Registry, only authorized sellers with permission from the brand through the brands Brand Registry are allowed to make any edits to the listing. As others have stated, just because you were authorized for these brands in the past does not mean that you are still allowed to list them now. You will need to get permission directly from Nike and Adidas and have them add you as an authorized reseller to their Brand Registry or you will not be allowed to list them on Amazon.
