We are a well-known fishing brand and got our brand TMd in 1963. I am working through the brand registration process and received a reply that the Brand Was Already Registered. Any advice for navigating this?

My name is Sandy from the Community manager team.
If you look through trademark search in USPTO there's already the same brand with the Application Filing Date: Mar. 16, 2005.
The owner name is the same so I'm assuming there is someone internal from the company or different region that filed already.
Is there someone internally that you can connect with to get this information? Once you get this, you can ask to get added into the brand.
