FBA Claiming Wrong SKU Sent, Will Not Reimubrse
So sort of an odd issue we are encountering. We've had a few shipments to FBA in which items are not being checked in/lost. We submit a case asking Amazon to investigate the missing units, provide our sales invoice, and Amazon reports back saying we sent in a different SKU than on the shipping plan and says I made a mistake, so we will not locate these supposed incorrect items or reimburse.
Now I personally pack up our items to go to Amazon and there is no way we sent the wrong item. We do one shipment at a time and move on. Additionally, Amazon can't even claim what they did receive as the wrong item. So 25,000 in inventory is now just gone despite showing valid tracking as boxes delivered. Is this the new standard Amazon has for items they lose upon check-in for FBA?

Just received the same thing. Seems like they are trying to avoid payments on larger orders. As I haven’t had an issue when they lose small orders.

I am currently experiencing the same issue, the shipment took weeks to get checked in and now they are telling me the same nonsense, wrong sku, my physical merchandise is missing, and I am not due a refund for their mistake. Half my shipment was a restock, funny how it sold without issue until now. Bunch of thieves at FBA and I am done with Amazon.

This has happened on TWO of the four shipments we've sent in this year. And a third had the inventory reduced. So I have lost about 60% of the inventory I've sent to FBA. Normally this is when I ramp up and would send HUNDREDS of shipments to FBA before fall, but apparently we won't be doing that anymore! Amazon I DO hope you see this. This has to stop. You have to at LEAST return what you find in the shipment if you're not going to properly assign it to the Seller's inventory. That is known as theft and is illegal. Period.
