FedEx not available for buy shipping after adding a new address

We recently added a new "ship from address". But the FedEx option is not available in the Buy shipping tab. It shows an error of "A phone number is required in 'Ship from' details in <a href="/sbr/buyShippingPreferences?ref_=bem_bsp_msfp">'Buy Shipping preferences'</a>."

However, we do have the phone number added on the "New Locations" tab. What could be the issue? Is there a hidden place that we need to add the phone number?

We are seeing the same issue. Opened several cases and going nowhere.

They also don't specify the phone number format or if that matters.

@Topher_Amazon @KJ_Amazon This is clearly a wider spread issue that needs to be escalated. I have a post I tagged you both in that needs to be addressed, please.

We WANT to use the feature Amazon presses us to use, but our Cases and Forum posts remain unanswered and unresolved.

Thanks for bringing that error to our attention. Our partner teams are investigating that issue, and I shared your reports/cases with them.

Just to clarify: your FedEx carrier account is linked to Buy Shipping and you did not have any issues until you added a new Ship From location. Now when you try to purchase shipping with the new Ship From address all FedEx options are blocked, but the older addresses still work.

Our team is aware of this issue and is working on implementing a solution. In the meantime, a temporary solution has been put in place.

When you select a Ship From location you will see a duplicate option for the newly entered locations. One of these has the correct contact info and can be used to buy Fedex labels while the other will still show the "Phone number is required" message.

Please let me know if this worked for you or if you still need assistance.

Did anyone find a way to lock in the duplicate Ship From location as default so I do not have to change the Ship From on every order?

We started experiencing this glitch with FedEx labels on July 8th or 9th.

I did not have to open a support ticket for the duplicate to appear. It appeared automatically for me.
