Royal Mail collection

I have just started Royal mail business collection which the driver has to come in every day at a particular time. Take the parcels and scan and leave this is my third day and the driver is coming today and said he can’t take more than 20 parcels, where is Royal mail states that they can take unlimited parcels this is a Royal mail business account which there is no minimum restriction of how many parcels you take with a driver says that he can only take less than 20 parcels a day as he has to go from other post offices to collect. Does anybody know if they have been in the same situation of what I could do next because it’s really affecting my business ?

We have never been imposed a limitation and we send much more than 20 items a day.

How big are the parcels, if they all fit in a single Royal Mail sack then it shouldn't be a problem and your driver wouldn't have any idea how many you are sending unless he is checking your manifest.

If they are big parcels which don't fit in the sack I can see that there might be an issue. I know that room is often limited on the van but we are apparently one of the first stops so there is always plenty of room when they put our items in the van.

Have you tried talking to the Royal Mail Business team? I would start with them first. To give them credit they are quite good at talking to the local collection team and getting answers and putting problems right.

There is also sometimes the option to drop off at a mail centre or delivery office if you have one near by.
