Error 8572 - barcode problem
hello guys, i am trying to list a new product with 2 variations and i bought 2 barcodes not directly from GS1 but they authentic GS1 barcode with a certificate letter of authenticity.
The barcodes are UPC and when i put the barcode i get error 8572.
I am the brand owner and the product that i want to sell is not sold in amazon in this variation..
Someone maybe knows what might be the problem?

If you didn't buy from GS1, I suspect they are not registered to your company -- therefore, Amazon doesn't not accept them as belonging to you.

If you bought the codes from someone who'd already bought them from GS1, they're most likely registered to that person/brand.
Forget those codes and buy your own.

Michelle at Amazon here. I understand that you are getting an 8572 error when trying to create your listings. This is due to the brand not matching the brand in GS1. The UPC must have the exact same brand as it displays in GS1 or our system will reject it. You will need to buy your UPC's directly from GS1 that is registered to your brand. You can read this help page for more information on Valid UPC's.
