BSR Missing From All Marketplace Listings?
We're wondering if anyone else is seeing this: we are unable to see Best Seller Ranks anymore aside from sub-category ranks. We're able to see BSR for items we sell in our catalog and we can see it on the Add A Product interface but across the marketplace on all listing detail pages, there are no rankings for the main categories.
Is this an Amazon update or a temporary glitch?

There could be a few reasons why you’re only seeing sub-category ranks on listing detail pages:
- Sales rank calculation: Sales ranks are calculated based on all-time sales of a product, with recent sales weighted more heavily. If your product hasn’t had significant sales in the main category, it might not show a rank there.
- Category assignment: Ensure that your parent ASIN and all child ASINs are assigned to the same website display group and have the correct browse categories. Incorrect assignments can affect rank display.
- Variation handling: Depending on the Website Display Group of the parent ASIN, sales rank handling for variations can differ. In some stores, child ASINs have separate ranks, while in others, all sales are combined under the parent ASIN.
- Recent changes: If you’ve recently changed categories or made significant updates to your listing, it may take some time for the main category rank to appear.
- Minimum sales threshold: Some main categories may have a minimum sales threshold before displaying a rank.
