An ASIN is how the Amazon catalog locates items. Go to ANY product and you will find an ASIN for that item. An ASIN is for ONE ITEM but there can be multiple sellers IF those sellers have permission from the brand!

I would concur with what @Seller_kIukTwdhvntAp said, in which an ASIN is a unique identifier for a single product so it can only be used once for one item, but with multiple different sellers for it if they have the permission from the brand.
