FBA - vat number for UK based Book company
We are looking to send a pallet of books to Amazon for FBA however we are being prompted to input a VAT number as we are based in UK, however we are not a VAT registered company and wanted to know if there is a way around this?
Or is it the case that all FBA seller have to be VAT registered

No, all FBA sellers do not need to be VAT registered. You say you are based in UK - are there any non-UK based addresses in your account details ?

if you are not Vat registered then you cannot provide a number. Was it a definite request from Amazon - if so then something in your info is leading Amazon to think you need to be registered for legal reasons. Any overseas addresses registered ie are the account owners non UK residents
