What is the purpose of the button that says:
[] Remember this computer
Why is this button there if it doesn't work!? I am sick of logging into Amazon whenever I get on the PC.

I think that this is a problem on your computer, not an Amazon problem.
TTBOMK, Amazon handles the NO-2FA request by setting a cookie. Do you have some software that is writing your cookie file?

I wish mine only made me do the 2factor code after signing on. It makes me do it every 20 min or so if I stop and look at a different tab . It is extremely annoying and sometimes I lose the whole train of connection when I have to do the 2factor id so often.

If you clear your Cookies the code disappears
