Algorithm change?
Last year (in May I believe), I recall speaking with other sellers about how Amazon significantly changed their algorithm. My organic sales dropped in half and it seemed like Amazon was prioritizing advertising (of course) somehow.
Anyways, fast forward to this month and my organic sales are 1-2 a day (compared to 8 in previous years). All of my sales now come from ads, and while my ACOS is improving, it’s still not gonna be a winning formula for me long term.
Has anyone else noticed this? I know the economy plays a factor but people are still buying - it’s just coming from ads now and requiring more spend, eating into profits.
