Low Inventory Fee Causing Sellers To Have Too Much Stock
Anyone else worried that listings are going to get bombarded with insane amounts of inventory because of the new low inventory fee? Amazon is telling multiple sellers at a time that they need to have 30+ days of stock in fba to avoid the fee. If there are multiple sellers on a listing they are all going to have way too much stock once everyone's inventory gets into the fulfilment centers. I have already started to see most of the wholesale listings I am on being flooded with too much stock relative to what sells a month. All the listings are going to quickly tank in price because everyone just tries to be the lowest price. I haven't seen anyone else mention this but I see it as a huge problem. Not sure if anyone thought this through.

Hi @Seller_z0TFo0bduk0xA,
Thank you for reaching out with this question and for your patience here!
Please note that the historical days of supply is a seller-specific metric, which means that we only consider the seller’s inventory units and shipped units in the metric calculation, and fee calculation. To avoid the fee, you need to ensure your inventory levels are above 28 days relative to your historical demand.
I hope this helps clarify! If you have any additional questions, please let me know.
All the best,
Jameson
