"Why Does Amazon’s DPD Buy Shipping Conflict with DPD Direct Accounts?"
Hi,
I hope you can help as we’ve encountered an issue and wonder if anyone has had a similar experience.
We have been using DPD through Amazon’s “Buy Shipping” option for a while without any problems. Recently, we decided to open a direct account with DPD to handle additional shipments, some of which are unrelated to Amazon. However, when we went through the setup process, our main computer experienced significant issues, affecting all our operations. We had to roll back the system and uninstall the new driver program to restore functionality.
We reached out to DPD’s IT support, who spent a considerable amount of time troubleshooting. Unfortunately, they couldn’t resolve the issue, as it seems there’s a conflict between the two DPD drivers. They suggested that we upgrade our label printer to a newer model, but even after doing so, the problem persisted. Interestingly, the new program runs fine on a different computer.
When we contacted DPD’s IT support again, they advised us to use two separate computers, which doesn’t seem practical or efficient. Do you have any advice or suggestions?
We also have two additional concerns:
We were told that we cannot mix parcels—some generated through Amazon’s system and some through our direct DPD account—because drivers are unable to scan both types. Is this accurate?
They mentioned that to use our new DPD account with Shopify, we would need to pay separately for integration. This also seems odd.
We would greatly appreciate any guidance you can offer.
Thanks,

Hey there @Seller_4jeZD40ha7u4o,
That sounds like quite a headache, were you able to troubleshoot this issue?
