Attack of the high pricing errors - Mods Please Help!

During last week of November/first week of December, my account got hit with a bunch of high pricing errors on my multipack bundles. I opened some cases with seller support and they informed me that I was getting these errors because my prices were higher than similar offers for different ASINs that are single packs. I explained to seller support that even though the overall price of the single items that they found were cheaper than my multi packs, my multipacks come out to be cheaper per piece, and the reason why my overall price was high was because the item I was offering was a multipack.

The single pack they referenced was being sold by Amazon at $6.98. My 5 pack was listed at $32.99. 32.99/5=$6.60. That makes my offer 38 cents cheaper per piece .

Seller support forwarded my concern to the internal team, but the internal team keeps coming back saying that in order to remove the high pricing error, I must lower my price to a fair price. They are completely disregarding the fact that my price is already cheaper per piece than the market price. Lowering my price any further would bring it below market price, and cause me to lose a significant amount of money per sale.

This is ridiculously unfair, and I'm hoping that a mod can help communicate to the internal team that my offer is fairly priced, and only seems to be expensive because it is a multipack.

Good luck, this platform no longer cares and it's a real shame. We've been going through this for years now. It's bad for you, bad for Amazon, and bad for the customer. This platform has become incompetent in all aspects.

Yes, it is called price-fixing and it is against the law...supposedly.

Well, not "exactly" because Amazon doesn't tell you exactly what price to sell it at...just tell you that you have the wrong price and can't sell it until you price it "right." You know, semantics...

Welcome to the world of Amazon Logic , or more concisely, Amazon Non Logic.

We've been battling this issue for years, and Amazon's Bots are simply unable to differentiate between a 1 pack and any other pack size. Even in this age of advanced Artificial Intelligence, you'll never find any intelligence when it comes to Amazon's bot system.

They have systematically destroyed / removed over 4000 of our listings in the last 3-4 years since they started with this very deeply flawed price sensitive system which can't decipher multi-packs no matter how well defined they are.

We simply gave up, and now list those multi-packs on other platforms who do not have the ridiculous multi pack bot pricing errors that Amazon is so plagued with

Amazon does this with intent to harm sellers! We had one an item we few days back a Superman figure regularly sells in the $500 range must be the new movie hype as not Amazon Price Fixed it to 2015 list price ignoring sales data for almost 10 years and the cheapest we found searching all platforms was a used no package for $225 so this was clear Amazon does this with intent to harm sellers on items they can not compete with! MIY PRICES ARE NEVER HIGH THAT IS A FACT!

We have a similar issue. In clothing, extended sizes cost a little more. Amazon's bots can't figure out how to match size to size correctly.

After more than a dozen back and forth message and complaints all we get is the same cut/paste non-answers. We have tried escalating to Jeff email and get the same useless non-answers.

They say "don't worry, people can still buy the product". Ok, then why do you send me a daily email that they can't and the listing is deprioritized???

Just more typical bloated company issues where they can't figure out how to fix a problem they created.

SMH yet again.....

Same problem. Someone puts in a reference price of $1.99 and I can't sell a sku for profit any longer. Sometimes seller support will accept reference prices from other sites, but even then its hit or miss. And it is never worth the time. Amazon could easily fix if they wanted and simply not allow a sku to have a pricing error until it is actually unfairly priced. If the price is less than 3x the cost of fees, its hard to say anyone is taking advantage. There are a lot of costs to be covered.
