Mistaken DAC7 Verification Notice for My Amazon Seller Account
I am writing to address an incorrect DAC7 verification notice I received for my Amazon Seller account.
Here are several important reasons why this verification shouldn't apply to my account:
Geographical Location: The address registered for my account is in Ukraine, which is not under the European Union's authority.
Business Operations: My Amazon Seller business operates from the United States, placing my business activities well outside the European Union's direct influence or tax requirements.
Citizenship and Residency: Being a citizen of Ukraine, neither my residence nor my business dealings are within the EU, making me exempt from the DAC7 directive's intended regulations.
After getting the verification notice, I tried to follow the steps and clicked the verification link, only to find a message saying my account is not subject to DAC7, reinforcing my belief in an error.
Help please with this issue, coz Support didnt help, only send me to vefification process.

Hello @Seller_3Vd4wNREXeNPs,
Thank you for your post. I hope all is well.
"I am writing to address an incorrect DAC7 verification notice I received for my Amazon Seller account."
From the information you have provided, I see that your account needs to go through the DAC7 verification.
Per our DAC7 policy, all seller s who have their primary address in the EU is to go through the verification process and must comply and perform these actions:
- Collect additional information such as tax identification numbers (TINs), company registration numbers, and permanent establishments, from affected sellers.
- Verify the information, including verification against the respective authorities’ databases.
- Report sellers’ data along with details on the consideration earned, the fees charged to them, and banking details.

I understand that your address has been registered in the Ukraine, but the business operates from the United States, can you clarify how this is set up?
We are here to help. If you have additional questions or concerns, please let us know in this thread.
