General Liability Insurance not accepted - no CLEAR explanation why, ZERO clarifications from Amazon Seller Support

We've had the same liability insurance provider for the past 2 years. This year we renewed our insurance and re-submitted to Amazon. The insurance is same as in the last 2 years. When we submitted the insurance certificate to Amazon this time, we got rejected for the following reason:

-- Your policy does not cover your sales through the Amazon.com store.

We checked, and double checked, and our insurance follows all of the requirements of Amazon. The insurance provider is one of the largest and reputable companies in the world.

When I reply to the support case created about the insurance certificate, I get an automated reply that Amazon doesn't reply to such cases, and I need to RE-SUBMIT the insurance certificate. When I try to get a clarification, and submit a new case to Amazon Seller Support trying to get ANY clarification WHY EXACTLY the insurance certificate was rejected, they tell me that they can not review insurance certificates, and that we need to re-submit our insurance certificate again. This is a ridiculous VICIOUS CYCLE and complete waste of time: you don't know the exact reason why your insurance certificate is rejected, and you can't do anything about it as Amazon seller support refuses to provide any details whatsoever besides a standard cookie cutting, copy/paste reply.

The copy of the insurance certificate with private data crossed out is attached. The insured name exactly matches our company name. Any ideas what can be wrong with it?

Thanks for your help.

you may want to check and make sure your name on the insurance certificate matches the legal entity name on your amazon account exactly.

if you have LLC on your legal entity name, make sure it is on the insurance certificate. or if you see a discrepancy in the 2, call and ask your insurance company. they could very well know what the main reasons are that amazon rejects insurance certificated (maybe you already did this). I had a problem getting authenticated last year, but I think they told me my name on the insurance certificate did not match exactly the business entity name found under my seller account. so it was easy to fix with a phone call to my insurance company.

check your insurance settings. I had the same problem and realized that the insurance company was wrong and they could not verify it.

Double check all info is correct and resubmit.

on the other hand you might have got some dipshit to review your certificate and they did not know what they are doing.. which happens a lot.

It may be a simple issue. That policy does not go into effect until 10/14 (a week from now). Common sense would check to see if it matches your current insurance and would be an annual renewal, but that would mean using common sense. If you have the 10/14/2022 through 10/14/2023 policy certificate, that may be accepted. As with anything else, it may not be that simple - but the effective date stands out to me.

Amazing how EVER time you get an answer from amazon seller support is it NEVER clear yet when they demand info from you, you have to give it in detailed format, every t crossed and i dotted, double spaced etc etc etc. AND when you ask them for more information they just copy and paste the exact same response. It is almost like every policy and procedure amazon does is some big secret and amazon thinks that if you can not read their mind then maybe will go away because they really do not care
