There is a "ship date" when I create "send to Amazon". What happens if the shipment is delayed?

To be more specific,

1. When I send my products using Small Parcel Delivery (SPD) with Amazon Partnered Carrier (UPS) and if I drop my packages at a UPS store one week later than the "ship date", are there any disadvantages?

2. When I send my products using Less Than and Full Truckload(LTL/FTL) with Non-Amazon partnered Carrier(use your own carrier), and if I hand my products to the carrier 1 month later than the "ship date", are there any disadvantages?

The description says "Ship date is the date you expect to hand your inventory to the carrier. This date helps us prepare to receive your inventory. You can change the date after you have confirmed shipping", I'm just concerned. Any experiences or any input on how much important it is?

Hi @Seller_Ii6WbM1GE0oWE,

Thank you for reaching out with these questions!

For both SPD and LTL/FTL shipments, you should not encounter issues with your shipments if you update your ship date within step 3 of the Send to Amazon workflow. If you haven't done so already, I'd encourage you to read through this help page for instructions and best practices on this process.

I hope this helps clarify! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

All the best,

Jameson
