GTIN Exemption Not Working After Approval

Hello!

I am super frustrated with Amazon "seller support". I have received GTIN exemption approval, 2 times now over the past couple of months for the same product and no matter what I do, the Product Identity Page goes to "A GTIN exemption is required. Apply Now". Is anyone else still having this issue?

I have been in communication with Amazon support and get the complete run around. They continue to copy and paste the same messages and I reply giving them what they ask for, only to go back to square one with another person. I have spoken on the phone with "support", 2 different people, an hour and half later for them to tell me to apply for the GTIN exemption again. I did that, got it approved, same problem.

These are the steps I have taken to try and add my new product with GTIN exemption approval:

- Add a product not sold on Amazon

- Enter the Category approved for > Books > Crafts, Hobbies & Home > Crafts & Hobbies > General > ABIS_BOOK

- Product Identity Tab: Enter the product name/title, Enter the Brand Name exactly as suggested on the GTIN exemption email, Check "I do not have a Product ID"

- Entered the product information, photos, etc. on the other tabs

- Vital Info Tab: Manufacturer entered as suggested in the GTIN exemption email

- More Details Tab: Entered the Manufacturer Part Number to be the same as the SKU#

There is clearly something wrong on Amazon's end and they need to tell us, instead of giving us the run around like they have been for the past couple fo weeks with me.

I have the same issue and I've applied and been approved 5 times and the listing will still ask for my to apply again.
