1. First of all, here is how Amazon thinks.
When you were in High School and turned in an assignment, the teacher would review the work, and return it saying, “X, Y, and Z are missing, go fix it, turn it in again, and it will be correct”.
Now when you are in college and turn in an assignment for review, the instructor returns it and says, “it is not right, do it over”.
Can you see the difference? In High School the student is told what to do. Basically, the student has to use no internal thought process. Now in college, the student is told nothing about how to correct the situation, what may be missing, or what should be omitted. A much high thought process is required to solve the problem. This method Forces deep self-introspection before a second submission is turned in.
It is quite evident that Amazon EXPECTS and REQUIRES the Brand Seller to show they have given deep thought to the total situation before applying. As you found out, Amazon is not going to tell you the corrections that need to be made.
2. Brand real or not real.
- If your brand really exists in the real world before you come to the Amazon site, you will have no problem. Your product line mas met oll the requirements to sit on any retail store shelf and has met all the requitement required by your Liability Insurance Policy.
- If you are trying to start a brand using the Amazon site, it is a long uphill battle all the way
3. Most problems center around your COC (Certificate Of Compliance). For products used by baby's a COC will be required with the application. Amazon requires the testing be done by a USA Based Testing Lab. Where was your testing done?
4. Product Photographs must be of the actual product and clearly display your Brand Name permanently affixed to the item.

If your brand really exists, it will meet all standards for sale in the USA:
- Packaging
- child safety warnings in necessary
- made in what country
- warranty information
- Expiration Dates (if necessary)
- Contact Information
- All as it pertains to the item sold
- Have all COC's necessary on file
- Have GS1 registered UPC's in your business name on the product
- Have MSDS's on hand in your company/brand name
- Registered Trademarks are not necessary but will be helpful if problems do arrive
- Commercial Liability Insurance
