ASIN Is not eligible for FBA
My item has small lithium batteries inside the product itself as it's rechargeable. We thought the items would be classified as dangerous goods, so we applied to the dangerous goods program. The items were determined to not be dangerous goods.
I searched up our ASIN for the item and saw the result: "This product is not dangerous goods. This product is not classified as dangerous goods. You can sell this product through FBA as long as it meets general FBA requirements." -- Searching the ASIN and Applying for the dangerous goods program proved to me that the small battery does not affect our option to enroll in Amazon FBA.
Dangerous goods program shows this: Product Under Dangerous Goods (Hazmat) Review
This product has completed dangerous goods (Hazmat) review but could not be classified. Additional information is required in order to classify this product. Please safety data sheet or an Amazon exemption sheet.
This ASIN is currently classified under dangerous goods and can't be listed as FBA at this time. For help with classification and potential future listing with FBA, take the recommended actions below.
But when we click on the link (the part I underlined) we receive a page that says "Manage dangerous goods application" and the results are that the item is a non-dangerous good and "The ASIN is a non-dangerous good and can be fulfilled by any FBA seller."
Please advise. There is nothing wrong with the item, we're doing private labeling and see other sellers selling with PRIME. We want to send off our inventory for all of our items but the other item does not have batteries and this confusion is holding us off.
Thank you
