How do I set a different handling time for specific sku?
Hello community, I want to ask if there is a way we can set a different handling time for specific sku items?
I also sell on handmade Amazon and because items are made to order, it takes 1-2 extra day to craft and that often result in a negative hit on my on-time delivery performance.

You should start setting handling time at the SKU level for all listings. AND you must make sure Amazon has not turned automation on for your default handling time. Even if you do not use the default, turn it off.
You set handling time at the SKU level either when you first create the the listing or through Edit later on. Or through file upload.

File upload is the easiest way to do it for all your listings.

To adjust the handling time for a few specific items, you can go to your Amazon Seller Central, navigate to your catalog under 'Manage All Inventory', select Edit, and directly update the handling time in the Offer details. This method is straightforward and suitable if you're only adjusting a handful of products.
If you have a larger catalog and need to update multiple items at once, using the bulk update feature is more efficient. Access this by downloading the 'Price and Quantity' file from the 'Add Products via Upload' section. In this spreadsheet, you'll be able to set different handling times for each SKU by entering the desired days next to each product. Once you've filled out the spreadsheet, upload it back to Seller Central.

The previous responses provided the correct answers, but keep in mind you will be required to offer Second Day shipping, meaning even if you set your handling time to 2 days, if someone places order by 2pm and pays for 2nd day shipping, you have to ship that day. I can't find anyway around it and have set the cost very high for this option to discourage it. Someone correct me please if I am wrong.
