Did Amazon Italy Steal from Me? – Total Deadlock, What Can Be Done?

Hi everyone,

I want to share my experience with Amazon Italy because I’m completely stuck, and maybe someone here has gone through the same situation.

I haven’t received my payments for over a year, even though I have submitted all the required documents multiple times. My bank account verification keeps getting rejected without any explanation. There is currently a document under review that I have been waiting on for over a month, but nothing is happening.

Meanwhile, my account has been suspended, and although I submitted my new ID as requested, they didn’t accept it. At this point, communication with them has become completely impossible:

I can't even open a support ticket because they automatically close them.

Chat is unavailable – not that it was ever useful.

There’s no phone number to reach them.

I’m in a total deadlock – my money is stuck with them, and there’s no way to contact them.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there any way out of this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Dear Abella,First of all, thank you for addressing my issue.

As you can see from the approximately 20 support tickets I have submitted in the past few months:

- I have submitted bank documents to Amazon several times to verify my IBAN account. These were rejected about ten times without any specific feedback, with a template response copied and pasted each time. The submitted document met all the requirements, and if it didn’t, the template responses did not clarify what the issue was.

- A few weeks ago, Amazon deactivated my account, and the new personal ID I uploaded was also rejected without any specific reason mentioned. Since then, I have not been able to access the support chat, not that it was particularly helpful in the past.

- Since the deactivation, my support tickets are automatically closed, and I cannot complete the DAC7 procedure, which is about to reach its deadline.

I am currently in a complete standstill: I am unable to communicate with Amazon in any meaningful way (there is no available phone support), while my funds have not been paid out for almost a year. As a result, my accountant is unable to close the 2024 fiscal year.

This is a brief summary of my situation. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could contact me by phone, as I have now written about this issue at least 23 times in various support tickets and emails.

When exactly do they plan on reaching out? It’s incredibly difficult to make any progress when my access is restricted and no one follows up.
